He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?  ~Micah 6:8

Threads of Grace

Welcome to Simply Susan, where I write honestly about faith, marriage, motherhood and the everyday threads of God's grace.

So grab a coffee.
Pull up a chair.
I’m so glad you’re here.

My Book Reading Term One

I used to devour books. But I spend more time reading articles and blogs now. I want to get back to reading more real books so I have decided to record the books I read each term.

Theology/Faith/Spiritual

Health

Finances

Organisation

Biography/Autobiographical

Personal Growth

Fiction

What books have you read this term?

“Don’t rush. Now is the time you should be discovering who you are, and not trying so hard to be part of someone else.”

oh dear, just lost my comment:)
    Let’s see, what was I saying….
I dont’ read as much as you:( My free time to read is usually before bed at night, so it all depends on how much time I have left at the end of the day, which sadly is not a lot in this season of my life! I do try to read from a variety, so beside my bed you’ll find books on prayer(one of my main passions), homeschooling, leadership and occassionally fiction:) I’d like to read more fiction but this is really at the bottom of my list as the others take priority. I hope to get back to reading more fiction one day:)

      Hi Rosemary,
I have given up reading before bed. Its useless. I read one paragraph and fall asleep. And I don’t remember any of it the next day.
